The New Julio Mobile (Boodles)
Never let it be said the "Wieland's" like to do things the correct way! The plan was simple; sell Ferrell Ranch, order a brand spanking new Motorhome from either Tiffin or Thor, wait 8-10 weeks for delivery, meanwhile trade in Mrs. Julio's Acura TSX and buy a Honda CR-V because they are towable. Result: (1) Motorhome, (1) Vehicle. Then it's off on the RV ADVENTURE.
So you can say we planned our work, now lets work our plan. NOT! With the destruction of the ever faithful Julio-Mobile #1, another vehicle was needed. We realize we must downsize, that was in the plan too. We needed a vehicle capable of being towed by the motorhome and the Honda CR-V is rated #1. However, you tow it, it does not tow campers. Translation: The new Julio-Mobile #2 (Boodles) cannot tow the KIWI Hybrid camper.
So, our little Bye-Bye Mobile is now in permanent 'Dry Dock'. We still have the 'TSX' but that's a sedan and needed to take Mrs. Julio back and forth to work each day. Until we leave the rolling valleys of Elk Township Julio still needs a transporter too. Maybe if we harness the two like a horse team we could pull the KIWI, but it's not recommended by the manufacturers.
Now we sit and wait for the sale of our sprawling ranch. Once the wheels begin to turn (no pun intended) then it's off to the dealerships in search of a good deal.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE
The canoe you see in all our ADVENTURE pages has also seen lily pads for the last time. It's now residing in Canoe Heaven gliding past fragrant banks of flowers in gently rippling waters. Once this expedition gets rolling again our plan is two Kayaks or one(1) two man Kayak.
( We all know how the Wieland's plans work out, right? )
