We're OFF! Two dogs, two cats, two bikes, one Kayak, two hanging plants, enough fishing gear to stock "Bass Pro Shop", & a parakeet that chirps every morning at first light. Our fingers are crossed hoping that we haven't created a Three Ring Circus on wheels. Since our Motor Home is named after Travis Magee's famous Houseboat, "The Busted Flush", this trip will be like taking a "SEA CRUISE" Our First "Port - O - Call" is only 154 miles from Monroeville NJ, our HOME BASE, and is situated about 30 miles NNE of East Stroudsburg, Pa. (my alma mater) This is one of Bev's favorite Parks and she requested that we get here ASAP. We plan a one week stay to inspect The Flush" for any travel defects, experiance a few days of Kayaking on the Lake with our Kayak named "Maynard Keyes" (In honor of Travis's best friend, Meyer), tote the bikes over to the closest "RAILS-TO-TRAILS" bike path and get some additional exercise, peruse a local eatery or two, a side trip to a Winery or Three, check out the in-motion TV Satellite GIZMO to see if it really can locate Cable Stations, and finally catch up on some reading & relaxation. Next on our RV adventure is North Central Pennsylvania. We want to investigate a Corps of Engineering Lake that was recommended to us a year ago that has full hookups, scenic beauty, and perhaps the start of Fall foliage color change since we are approaching that time of year in a hurry.
